To apply for, or renew, your membership please complete the membership form and return it to Mr Terry Kavanagh (the address is on the form) at your earliest convenience together with the appropriate subscription. UK Members please send a crossed cheque, international members please send an International Money Order, payable in both instances to Spofforth Cricket Club.

Social & Playing Membership Forms are downloadable in PDF format from the appropriate link below.  Simply print, complete and hand or post to Terry Kavanagh with your annual subscription.

Please note that the following incentive applies:-

Introduction of a sponsor or advertising by a Full Member to the value of £50 will entitle the member to a £15 reduction on their subscription. If sponsorship or advertising  to the value of £100 and above is introduced there is no subscription to be paid.

The closing date for introduction of sponsors is 30th April. If no sponsorship or advertising is introduced by this time then the required subscription is due.  If sponsorship or advertising is forthcoming after the closing date then a rebate of subscription will be given.

Note: Any sponsorship or advertising  introduced must be new to the Club and not an existing sponsor or advertiser, unless the amount of sponsorship or advertising is increased.

Junior Membership

Registration evenings for Junior Membership will take place on Friday 1st & 8th April 2011 in advance of Friday evening coaching and competitive season commencing 15th April 2011.  Please see our News Page for more details.  If you wish to register by post then please complete the membership form in full and return it to Mrs Rachael Bateman (the address is on the form) at your earliest convenience together with the appropriate subscription.

SUBSCRIPTIONS 2011

Investment in Junior Cricket is taken very seriously at Spofforth CC and to this end we are constantly striving to make improvements and additions to our facilities, equipment and infra-structure.

For some time now we have been registered with HM Revenue and Customs as a "Community Amateur Sports Club", CASC, allowing us to claim Gift Aid on all donations to the club.  This scheme allows us to claim £0.28 in the pound (£0.25 from 6th April 2011) from HMRC on all authorised donations made by UK taxpayers.

For the forthcoming season we are asking for a payment of £45.00 made up of a £35.00 subscription and a £10.00 voluntary donation. This will allow us to claim a maximum of £2.80 per junior member from HMRC which we will re-invest in the club to the benefit of its membership.  It is important to note that the actual amount that you are obliged to pay for membership is £35.00 but we do hope that you will agree to help us in continuing to make improvements by adding the donation.

Subscriptions for 2011 will include:-

13 weeks Friday evening coaching @ 1 1/2 hours per evening - 19.5 hours
8 weeks Winter Nets (4 weeks Winter Nets for U9's - NEW for 2011)
All match fees for those playing in competitive cricket
A Gunn & Moore club shirt - NEW for 2011
Social Membership for 2 parents/guardians

For multiple memberships from the same parents/guardians there is a £10.00 discount for second and subsequent memberships.

PLEASE NOTE THIS FORM MUST BE COMPLETED IN ADVANCE OF ANY JUNIOR TRAINING OR COMPETITIVE CRICKET.
